Insight Studios was established by Mark Wheatley in 1978 as an
illustration and photography source. In 1980 Marc Hempel joined the
Studios and at that time Insight expanded to provide comics and
production services for the comic book industry. Over the decades
since, the Studios have become home to an ever growing list of talented
creators in the fields of illustration, comic books, comic strips, book
design, film, television, games and music - essentially the entire range
of entertainment media. The Studios and the creators are the recipients
of numerous awards and honors.
Insight Studios does not accept unsolicited submissions. As much as we
enjoy encouraging new talent, we are interested mainly in our own
projects and do not seek outside talent.
